What we collect
AniList: your AniList sign-in is kept in an httpOnly cookie, which scripts on the page can't read.
Google: we store your Google name, email and profile picture. You stay signed in through a signed session cookie that we can revoke on our side. We don't keep Google access tokens.
MyAnimeList: an httpOnly cookie holds only a random session ID. Your MAL access and refresh credentials are stored encrypted in our database, with your MAL user ID and when you connected.
What you create here: saved anime, likes and dislikes, past picks, your daily For you picks, and share or invite links. Signing in with Google alone doesn't personalize picks; that needs AniList.
Third parties
We send data to OpenAI (to understand your request and rank picks), AniList and MyAnimeList (to read your history and add titles to your lists), Google (to sign you in), MongoDB Atlas (where your data is stored), and Sentry (error reports only, never your anime data).
Recent anime on this device
Titles you viewed recently are kept in this browser so you can go back to them. They aren't synced to your account or other devices. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. We never send your chat messages, search preferences, email address, tokens or saved anime as analytics events, and we don't track custom events.
Cookies
We use httpOnly session cookies to keep each connection signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting data
You can export or delete your Google profile and your AniList data on Your account. Disconnecting MAL removes that connection's encrypted credentials. MAL connections expire after 30 days at most; other connections last until you disconnect them or they expire. If we can't confirm a connection refresh, we turn that connection off and remove its credentials, keeping only minimal session details until it would have expired, so it can't be reused. Exports never include credentials. None of this deletes your AniList, MyAnimeList or Google accounts, or the anime lists you keep there.
